Question by Anthony Casso: Florida Lottery Scratch Off Tickets, are they still valid?
I cannot remember how long ago I purchased my scratch off tickets, they sat in my car now a while, is there any way I can figure out if they are still valid to cash without having to take a trip to the gas station for no other reason?
YEEESSS I FOUND OUT A WAY TO TELL I EMAILED FLA LOTTERY AND THEY GAVE ME A SITE THAT TELLS YOU IF THE CARDS ARE STILL VALID http://www.flalottery.com/exptkt/scratchoffs.pdf

  1. on the back there is a date all you have to do is find the date of when it expires. All you have to do is keep your eye open the date is usually small.

  2. If they are winning tickets, bring them to a place that sells tickets and ask them to cash them in.

They will run the ticket through the machine and pay you. If they are expired, that message will come up on the machine.

Doesn’t hurt to try to cash them. Do it sooner rather than later.

By the way – even if you cash in all your winning tickets on time, these lottery tickets are the WORST bet you can possibly make. It’s infinitely worse if you end up throwing away winners.
